HERE WE GO! Chelsea Hijack Morgan Rogers Deal In Stunning £117m Move

Big twist in the Rogers saga, and it’s Chelsea coming out on top. Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed what David Ornstein first broke: Chelsea and Aston Villa have struck a verbal agreement worth £117 million for Morgan Rogers, beating Arsenal to the punch in dramatic fashion.
According to Romano, Chelsea moved quickly enough to get the transfer agreed before Arsenal could even get an official bid on the table, effectively hijacking a deal many assumed was heading elsewhere. Villa have accepted the £117 million offer, a fee that underlines just how highly Rogers is rated after his breakout form.
It doesn’t stop at the club-to-club agreement either. Personal terms are already sorted too, with Rogers set to commit his long-term future to Chelsea on a contract running all the way through to June 2032.
Arsenal will no doubt be left wondering what might have been. Chelsea, on the other hand, have pulled off one of the boldest moves of the window.
Here we go, confirmed. 🔵
